The mountain views are amazing, and the stay was worth it. The manager and everyone from housekeeping and the restaurant were very courteous and helpful. Rooms have heaters, hot water, proper beds and amenities, though there’s no TV in the rooms, just a shared one in the restaurant. You can also play cricket, badminton, carrom or chess.
The dining room was spacious, and the food came hot with a nice range of choices, just right after a day out exploring. Our tent was clean, cozy and had what we needed to be comfortable. The staff were warm and quick to help, and the manager was especially attentive. He even sang karaoke, which made the evenings fun. Desert Himalaya is a peaceful spot in the beautiful Nubra Valley, and a lovely place to relax in nature while still having good comfort and service.
The campfires and karaoke made the cold easier to handle, and were fun too. The rooms were comfortable and relaxing. With that breathtaking view, good service and food, this was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Ladakh, Nubra Valley.
We had tea in the evening and breakfast near the stream, then spent time stargazing under a beautiful sky. The mountains made a gorgeous backdrop, and the resort’s luxury tents were spacious. Food was great and the staff were really helpful. We had an amazing time at Desert Himalaya Resort in Nubra. Definitely recommend it, a must visit! ✨✨
The mountain views were stunning, and my family and I came away feeling rejuvenated from our time in the lap of nature. Our room was warm and cozy, with modern amenities, and the food was delicious. The whole team made the stay memorable through their hospitality. Special thanks to the manager for entertaining us with his soothing, melodious songs.
