Joginder Thakur ji made a real difference to our stay. He was kind, humble, and quick to help, always checking that we were comfortable with a smile. The rest of the team at Onpo Hotel were friendly and respectful too, and their care made us feel welcome. We were there on a family trip through Leh Ladakh. The hotel was peaceful and beautiful, with a great setting for taking in Nubra Valley. Our room was spacious, tidy, and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and had what we needed. After long days of travel and sightseeing, the food was a treat. Breakfast and dinner were fresh, tasty, and felt healthy. We left with lovely memories of our time at Onpo Hotel. Thank you to the whole team for looking after us.

It can take a little effort to find Hotel Onpo since it sits back from the main road, so confirm the directions before setting out. Once there, the quiet setting was a welcome break from the busier tourist spots, and the mountain views were lovely. Our room was roomy, clean, and well cared for. Hot water and clean bathrooms were available, both useful in a remote place like Nubra. The staff were polite and helpful, and the food was good, though the menu didn't have a lot of choice. For a short visit, it’s a comfortable option if you want a calm place to stay.
