OYO 49253 Raja Residency

This OYO isn't a good place for families. The rooms are dirty overall, and cockroaches are visible all over inside them. It seems the rooms are used for other things, like drinks and CC Service. The rooms just aren't good.

I had to check out within 10 minutes. The staff were argumentative and aggressive, and didn't seem to care that I was with my family and kids. Booking and checking in through OYO made it worse. The photos don't match what's there: there was no ventilation, a bad smell, and no cleanliness. After seeing this place, I felt it deserved a negative rating. Please avoid it.

I booked online after finding what seemed like a bargain, 750 bucks a day for an A/C room in Secunderabad. The hotel looked nothing like the glamorous photos. Inside, it was worn out furniture and mismatched decor, like a jigsaw puzzle. Then the power kept having problems, the lights flickered, and the A/C wouldn't blow cool air. I asked politely for a reduction because of the electricity and A/C issues, but they just laughed in my face and didn't care about my discomfort. My hopes of a cool, comfortable stay disappeared along with the power. It was a hot mess. If you're after broken promises and lukewarm air, this might be the adventure for you, but bring a battery-operated fan and a sense of humor.

The receptionist was the one decent part of the stay, so that's why I gave two stars. My sheets weren't changed and the room was dirty. Reception asked the boys to get a clean sheet after the laundry people arrived, but the boy never brought one. In the end I bargained directly with the laundry person to get a bedsheet. Big shame on OYO for promoting hotels like this.
