A decent place with small but good rooms. Finding out there was no service after 10:30 pm felt a bit scary.
The rooms were clean, and the washrooms were clean too, though mosquitoes were a problem. There were several power cuts at night. No water was provided in the room, and they charged for the bottles, which is why I gave it 3. The hotel is about 850m from the US consulate, roughly a 10min walk.
I got a good room through a last-minute booking and had a comfortable stay. Construction was happening nearby, but the room's sound insulation meant it didn't disturb us. The AC and geyser both worked fine. The bathroom was very small, with almost no room between the shower area and toilet, so I took off a star for the room. I rated the service low because a cockroach showed up at night and there was nobody available to help with spray or anything else.
The rooms were good and the stay was nice, though we weren't given toilet paper and the towel was very old. Nearby restaurants weren't great, but you can walk toward the consulate for better food.
The room was in such bad shape, yuck. The door wouldn't close properly, and the sheets and blankets were very poor quality and unhygienic. For the price, the room quality just doesn't match.
