Bloom Hotel - Financial District

When our flight was cancelled on checkout day and we booked an overnight train instead, reception gave us a few extra hours after we asked. The staff helped us settle in and dealt with issues quickly. The hotel is in the financial district, handy for business travel, and has yellow themed rooms throughout. Registration and check-in were smooth, and we had a pleasant stay.

The rooms were average in size, but the service was awful. There was no proper parking area, and although there was space on the property, we were told to leave our car outside. They hadn’t warned us that they wouldn’t be responsible for it. Nearby construction left the car covered in thick dust. When I asked for water to clean it, staff refused a bucket or hose despite having them there. I had to argue before they finally gave me a bucket and a hose that could easily reach the car. I had a fever, but they couldn’t provide a basic thermometer or medicines. Food was extremely expensive too: two machine coffees cost Rs 460. They were short-staffed, and even for blink it delivery we had to go downstairs. Not a good experience at all.

Hussain and Ajay were warm and helpful, and made me feel welcome and well looked after. I stayed for a week, and found the staff attentive and professional throughout. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, which made the visit relaxing. I’d recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant, comfortable stay.
