The dining area was in the basement and looked poorly maintained, as if it hadn’t been used for months. There was no active TV connection in the room, and even a simple request for tea couldn’t be handled. Food was brought to our room for an extra charge without anyone asking whether we wanted to eat in the dining area or in the room. The hotel says it’s close to Darjeeling Mall, but the location didn’t feel safe for tourists. The owner, Mr. Malay, was extremely arrogant and didn’t know how to speak to customers properly. The staff lacked basic service etiquette and seemed unaware of standard hospitality practices. This was one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at in Darjeeling, and I wouldn’t recommend it to tourists.

We stayed happily for two days at hotel wind horse. Our clean, nice room had a great mountain view, and the food was tasty with quick service. Darjeeling Mall is just 600 Mtrs. away. I recommend this hotel.

Rahul Bhai, the manager, really went out of his way to help us find nearby accommodation when we suddenly needed it. A landslide meant we couldn’t relocate from Darjeeling, and they offered us an alternative stay during that difficult time. It helped us a lot. The staff were welcoming and cooperative, and the hospitality deserves full marks. I’d absolutely recommend it.

The staff were so familiar and welcoming that I never felt away from home. I stayed here with my family, and we enjoyed our visit. The food was good too, and the hotel is beautifully located near the mall.

Room service was fantastic, and the agents were great to deal with. The rooms were clean, especially the well-kept bathroom, and the geyser worked all day. We had a relaxing, lovely stay and will visit again.
