The entrance is hard to find: reception is upstairs on the first floor of an old commercial building. Inside, the hotel is narrow and dingy, and the room photos shouldn't fool you. They're painting the rooms, so ours had fresh paint, but that didn't improve the awful experience. A coat of whitewash alone won't fix this place, and I can't recommend it. Luckily there's no restaurant or other services. The room was about 120 sft, with decent AC and a medium-sized water heater. That was about the only good part. There were cockroaches on the beds, and the sheets were stained. They said the sheets were washed; I asked for replacements, but those were stained too. The mattresses were just raw foam. A bad smell engulfed the room in the morning, perhaps from a washroom exhaust opening nearby. There was a large glass window opening onto the corridor, and someone tried to get in through it. The front desk person said he'd check the camera, but never got back to me.

At Hotel Daccan Comforts, Hyderabad, the rooms were clean and the location was convenient. Hameed really stood out, always polite, helpful, and ready to assist with a smile. I appreciated his excellent hospitality and had a pleasant stay.

The room was clean, with a comfortable king bed and a roomy bathroom, and the location was great. Staff were helpful and easy to coordinate with. I've stayed at many hotels, but this is my favorite. I had a great experience and was completely satisfied.

After paying in advance to book, I arrived to find yesterday's waste and food scattered around. The rooms are old, and the furniture, toilet, and floor were dirty. I was so surprised after seeing the good reviews. I moved to the hotel next door and didn't even ask for my booking money back. This is the worst guest house, and they don't seem to know what cleanliness is. I wouldn't recommend it to any family. It's not worth more than ₹500/-.

We were three women and had some safety concerns when booking, but Mr. Ali's excellent communication and friendly help on the phone made up my mind. He was accommodating and even offered us a free late checkout. The well-kept, comfortable place put us at ease, and being right on the main road felt like a safe choice. Our room and bathroom were spacious and clean. We were on the second floor, with a spectacular view of the dining area at night. There's no in-house restaurant, but we could eat our Swiggy order in the dining area anytime, and guests can use a nice set of plates. The TV and AC worked fine, and the big wall mirror was really useful when all of us were getting ready at once. I don't usually write reviews, but this place deserves one. It was a great stay, and I'll book again if I need a hotel in the heart of hyderabad.
