Eastin Hotels

We had a really nice time here with the family a few days ago. The food was awesome, and the hotel has a very elegant feel. Everyone was polite, especially the restaurant staff, who were humble when speaking with us.

My first impression of Eastin Hotels was ruined by a rude exchange at reception. I asked Venkat, also known as Venky, to call a bell boy to help with my luggage. He told me, “First go and check in, later we will call the bell boy,” in a disrespectful way. Even after I explained politely and we argued, he wouldn't listen or show any courtesy. My confirmation number was 17674. Reception is the first contact for guests, so this kind of unprofessional handling was especially disappointing. Guests should get basic help and courtesy. I don't recommend the hotel unless management takes staff behavior and training seriously. Hospitality includes respecting people, not just providing rooms.

The rooms were average, and the washroom was extremely tiny, smaller than ones I've seen in budget hotels. Its door lock also didn't work. There was a terrible smell outside the rooms, almost like a sheep pen everywhere except reception. An elderly man, maybe the owner, yelled at our baby for playing near the rangoli in reception. It was a festival decoration, but shouting at an infant was incredibly rude. The reception staff otherwise were good.

Getting around from here was easy, with connections to Jubilee Hills, Hitec city, Kondapur, and the ORR. The rooms were well maintained, and housekeeping were kind and humble. Manager Anjineyellu personally looked after guests, which made for good hospitality. A good place to stay.
