Golden Gate Service Apartments By OYO Rooms

I checked out on 4th-OCT-2024. Check-in and checkout were both really quick, unlike at other OYO rooms. The washrooms were clean, and the common hall was huge. It was a good place and there were no mosquitoes. You need to request the kitchen before using it, and there’s a charge based on what you request, with the price possibly reduced depending on that. The caretaker wasn’t greedy about money, which was unbelievable.

The location works well, close to the metro and Hi-tech city, but I wouldn’t suggest staying here if comfort matters. The rooms are only average, and bookings are accepted offline only. Even if you’ve paid online, you have to cancel that booking. We were there for 5 nights and the room wasn’t cleaned once. They only offer bottled water for 30rs, with no regular water. Tables and chairs are in the shared area, so there’s no privacy. Wifi is very slow and keeps disconnecting. The cost is much too high for the service and quality.

All you really get is a room. There are no arrangements for anything else, so you have to order food through swiggy/ zomato and use apps if you need other items. Even for something small like warm water or a tea cup, they just say they don’t have it. The place could be called NO FACILITY. The geyser, lift, and TV don’t work, even though they’re fitted there like decorations. The manager / owner is rude and uncooperative. One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in.

It’s within budget and the rooms are maintained well, though they’re small. The two beds were pushed together to make one, which I found difficult. There aren’t food stalls or restaurants nearby, so you have to go a bit farther. For the price, it’s okay.
