Hotel O JV Colony Near KFC Gachibowli

I only needed a room for one night while our house was being renovated, but check-in was awful. The receptionist left us waiting nearly 30 minutes while he had dinner, then said he needed a physical copy of our Aadhaar. I could get ours because we live nearby, but that could be a real problem for people travelling from farther away. The way he spoke made it seem like we were asking for a free room. After we returned with the documents, he blamed OYO for paying late and said they were making life difficult for OYO bookings. That’s a ridiculous excuse. The room was really bad too, and we left after half an hour. OYO customer care was terrible as well. Avoid this place.

The rooms weren’t cleaned, and they seemed to reuse the same sheets and pillowcases after guests checked out. Staff behaviour was the biggest problem: one person was so rude he grabbed a guest’s phone and gave himself a five-star rating. They also charged extra and pressured guests not to pay through the app, even when it offered a discount. They don’t follow OYO’s rules.

The bathroom exhaust fan doesn’t work, and water keeps dripping. The room is too small for two adults and a child.

I stayed here for a day in June2024, and it felt like somewhere to crash and nothing more. The water had so much iron in it that I decided not to bathe, and there were stains on the toilet. The shower didn’t work, and the AC ran without cooling the room. There was no bottled water or soap, though you could refill a bottle at the lobby dispenser. The bathroom body wash dispenser was empty, and the TV didn’t work either.
