The bed sheet wasn't very clean, the bed had stains, and the blanket smelled. The bathroom wasn't good, the cupboards were dusty, and there was a broken mirror. There were no charging sockets in the room. When I asked, the receptionist casually said, “Yeah sir, in that room there is no charging socket,” and laughed at his mistake. The stay was pathetic, 0/5. I booked through MMT for nights at 1604 Rs. The online price was cheap, but when I got to the property they asked for an extra 1500 Rs at check-in. I'd come all that way with a hectic schedule and was tired, so I didn't have the energy to bargain. If you're a couple, a family, or coming with friends, don't book this hotel.

I checked in at Sri Nirvana Inn around 8am on 19 April 2024 after walking in to ask about a short hourly stay. The receptionist was asleep on the couch, but said hourly stays were available and asked when I planned to leave. For checkout around 6pm he charged me 1200INR; a day or night would be 1800INR. He showed me a single A/C room with a shower and toilet, and kept asking if I’d be staying alone. When I asked why, he said people sometimes bring others in after saying they’re alone. The room on the first floor was decent, though there was a smelly towel behind the door. I got a medmix soap and a bottle of water. There were no cockroaches, and although the bathroom smelled like someone had just bathed, the floor was dry. Someone knocked to check how many people were inside, then pretended they had the wrong door and quietly walked away. It’s an option for an emergency stay. The room locks weren’t proper, the AC was weak, and the towel and room service were both bad. The receptionist was rude, and I couldn’t find anything positive about the stay. Also, don’t assume the OYO app price is what you’ll pay in person. The app showed 1100/- but the owner asked for 1500/- per day. Call the hotel before paying through OYO.

They wanted 2000 per night and wouldn’t honor the rate shown on OYO when I arrived. I’d seen the negative comments about being charged double and went anyway, but that turned out to be true. When I asked the receptionist to explain the price, he was arrogant, ignored us, and didn’t bother answering. Check with them before booking. There are plenty of rooms in that area.

The room itself was good, but the Wi-Fi was terrible. I’d booked two days through the OYO app for about ₹1200 including OYO money, and the online price looked cheap. At the property they said it was ₹1500, or ₹1800 for a weekend check-in. I was busy and a bit sick, so I didn’t bargain, and ended up paying 3000/- in total. The app should show the right amount instead of a low price that goes up when you arrive.
