Hotel Saraswathi Residency

The rooms were clean and good for an affordable stay. There’s also a little takeaway right beside the hotel, and the food there was super delicious. Room service was good too.

I went in to look at rooms before booking a weeklong stay for my family, and was sending pictures to check they were okay. After about ten minutes, the receptionist rudely told me to hurry up, book if I wanted, or leave, and said he wouldn’t show me any more rooms. His arrogant attitude made the whole experience awful. The way he treated a potential customer was unacceptable, and the owner or OYO franchise should take action on how he deals with guests.

The rooftop infinity pool was a lovely place to relax, with sunny poolside lounging and great views over the city. I also found the fitness center well equipped, so keeping up my workouts was easy. Meals at the hotel restaurant were delicious, with a varied selection of local and international dishes, and the waitstaff were attentive. I stayed here on a business trip. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were friendly and helpful. My room was spacious, very clean, and furnished in a modern style. Floor-to-ceiling windows looked out over the city skyline, and the king bed and luxurious linens made for restful nights. The elegant lobby, contemporary decor, and soft background music gave the hotel a calm, comfortable feel.

The rooms are good, but the receptionist Sheshu made this a very bad experience. He was arrogant and had no decency, kept chatting on the phone, and didn’t respond to people. I haven’t come across a receptionist like him.
