The location is right in the city center, and for the price it's a decent option for travelers. The rooms are spacious, the staff are nice, and there's safe parking. It's an old, classy property, though it hasn't been looked after well. Room service is poor, there's no intercom, and I saw small cockroaches in the room.
We lost two hours and had to find another hotel after staff turned us away, despite my advance Agoda booking for three days for my wife, daughter, and me. They said they had no Agoda tie-up and no rooms. Once the booking was cancelled, they offered a room if we paid them extra directly. It seemed they had rooms but didn't want to honor a prepaid booking, possibly to avoid commission. Unethical, unprofessional, and misleading. Avoid this hotel.
We had a pleasant stay, and the food was very good. It's a great hotel in the heart of Hyderabad.
Fab hotels aren't recommended at all. We arrived late and found there were no rooms, and the manager said they don't accept online bookings. We moved to another hotel that night, and it was extremely bad too, with cockroaches everywhere and poor bedsheets.
At a function for 300 people, there was just one small, filthy bathroom and nobody to clean it. The roof leaked at the nobel banquets on the fifth floor of this hotel on Chapel road, and my guests had to keep trying to avoid the rain while dining. A horrible experience.
