The rooms are comfortable, neat, and air conditioned, and the place has an apartment style setup with rooms in service on the 4,5th floors. Prices are reasonable and they accept all kinds of payments. Hotel Amar estates has good amenities and friendly service. I found it relaxing for time with family and would like to visit again.

I ended up cancelling and moving to another place. The apartment, where the Oyo rooms occupy the 4th and 5th floors, had no power when I arrived, so I had to haul my luggage up the stairs to the 5th floor. Power kept cutting out later too, leaving the room dark, and the area wasn't well lit. The room was in poor shape, with sockets and switches that didn't work. There were cockroaches in some bedrooms, including on the bed. They had nothing to keep mosquitoes away, so I had to bring a coil. So many issues came up at once that leaving was my only option. Others may have a different experience, so make your own decision.

The stay started badly: my friend and I booked two rooms on OYO for 736rs each while we were in town for an interview, but the owner or reception person at OYO 11317 Amar Estate refused to check us in, saying that rate was too low. After 1hour 30 minutes of trying to reach OYO customer service, they finally let us in. A very pathetic experience. Later, in the middle of the night, someone knocked on my lady friend's door three times. She called me to come see who it was. I went out within a minute and saw a few men, though I couldn't tell who had knocked. I told her not to open the door if anyone knocked again. Back in my room, I saw some guys partying nearby. They might have been drinking, but I can't be sure. Sisters especially, think twice before booking here.

After a night flight from pune to Hyderabad, I arrived at amar estate with a confirmation message for my booking, only to be told at reception that there were no rooms. If they had no availability, they shouldn't have confirmed it, since I could have booked somewhere else. This was a terrible OYO experience. I won't book an OYO room again, and urge others not to trust their promises.
