OYO 11919 Dock Inn

These Oyo Rooms are on the 7th floor and in very poor condition. The sheets, pillow covers, and towels were dirty, and they didn't clean the room even after I asked. There's no press, and the geyser is small. You have to ask for breakfast, and there may not be enough for everyone. If you have another option, don't check in.

It's a great place for a group stay. Just know what you're booking: it's an apartment converted into a hotel, with each room part of a 3bhk flat. If two people book, they'll get one room in that flat. People looking for a party should book somewhere else.

Think carefully before booking this hotel through the Oyo app, especially if you're in a hurry. My check-in turned into a long, exhausting mess. The hotel and Oyo customer care couldn't agree on the price, and I was left without a room before eventually being shifted to another hotel far from where I needed to be. I ended up walking for nearly 20 minutes to get there. This was my second bad check-in experience with this hotel, and I won't book it again. I arrived around 11:50 for a room I'd booked that day, but the hotel refused to check me in, saying the tariff was too low. They told me to ask customer care for a complimentary stay or a hotel transfer. I spent almost two hours on the issue, made about 10 calls, and had 15-20 minutes of waiting each time. Some calls disconnected automatically. Oyo wouldn't agree to the hotel's demand for 1400, and the hotel wouldn't compromise either. Eventually Oyo moved me to another hotel, which cost 1596. I said I didn't want to pay a single rupee. When I arrived, 347 was still showing as pending, so I called customer care again. After some discussion, they agreed to cover that 347 too. The final price was 1813. Oyo had refused to cover 400 as a complimentary amount for dock inn, but paid 800 toward my current stay. dock inn should sort out its issue with Oyo directly instead of refusing guests check-in. There's a Telugu saying, “When two cats fight, the monkey profits.” That's what happened here: dock inn and Oyo customer care fought, and the hotel I'm staying at now got the benefit. I feel sorry for the people at dock inn, Oyo support, and myself for booking through Oyo. I'm still restless after this experience. I'm free at the moment, so the delay hasn't caused me a problem, but it could be a big issue for someone in a hurry. Thanks for reading my review.

The staff hospitality was terrible, and they don't even show respect to customers. The receptionist guy in particular was horrible. The rooms in this serviced apartment are good.
