The staff were very polite, which is why I recommended this place to a friend. But my own stay last month was awful. The lobby smelled bad, and the bedsheets were dirty. They’d been turned over so the clean-looking side faced up. When I told the staff, they didn’t respond. I checked in at midnight, still within my reservation, and was asked to pay 500 with no receipt. The staff members involved were women. I was really unhappy with how management handled everything. Thanks for the treatment.

The way in is through a basement, and the lobby there was filthy. Inside, the atmosphere was poor and the bedsheets were dirty, apparently turned over to hide the stains. The assistants or bell boys looked unclean and didn’t know the local language. Outside food wasn’t allowed, though they also didn’t have a kitchen and brought food in from outside themselves. The food service was poor, as was the service overall. I wouldn’t consider it suitable for families or women.

I booked a Deluxe suite and attached photos of the room. It had no ventilation at all, not even a window or vent, and the flush didn’t work. The room itself was crawling with cockroaches and ants, including on the bed and table. There were no bathroom accessories, and the towel was dirtier than the doormat. Room service was nonexistent. This was easily the worst hotel I’ve checked into. Don’t visit.

It’s heavily overpriced for the room quality, so I’d skip this hotel, and OYO altogether. The rooms are extremely cramped, the fans and switchboards don’t work, and the reception is hard to get a response from. Service was poor and there was no customer satisfaction. It’s beside a bar, so be careful.
