I booked and paid ₹1,171 for an AC room on the OYO app. I arrived around 8:30 AM, well before the 12 PM check-in time, and they charged ₹500 for early check-in. I stood at the counter for over 30 minutes. They kept calling to discuss the OYO rate and insisted I pay ₹1,500 instead, or cancel online and book offline with no extra check-in charge. I stuck with my booking, ₹1,171 plus ₹500, and they finally let me into the room after half an hour. The lift didn't work. The TV had no signal, wasn't working, and sat on a table with no stand, propped against the wall because its wall mount was broken. The telephone port was broken too. There was no hot water, the walls, bedsheet, and washroom were dirty, and the towel they gave me was dirty. They didn't provide hand wash, shampoo, or a hand towel. The only things that worked were the AC, fan, and light, which is why I'm giving two stars. I was there from 02-12-14 until checkout on 03-12-14 at 9:30 AM. I think OYO properties in Hyderabad are misleadingly shown as world-class online, while the reality is a dustbin. I had to stay in Hyderabad for 11 nights and checked other OYO listings too, including ones booked through Cleartrip, MMT, and Goibibo. They all had dirty rooms and washrooms. OYO should visit its listed properties every quarter so hotels maintain their rooms.

The room had plenty of space, but cleaning was completely neglected. There was a cockroach wandering around in the washroom. The staff seemed to take matters into their own hands. I gave them money to order food, and they kept it and brought back third-class food. They wouldn't even bring tap water without me reminding them three or four times.

The bathroom smelled so bad that my wife and kids wouldn't go in, so I cleaned the whole thing myself until the smell was gone. The receptionist kept insisting it was already clean and had no smell. The blankets and pillow covers were filthy, and looked like they hadn't been washed in a year. There was no soap or towel, and the room had no proper amenities or cleanliness. We'd booked and paid through MMT, but when we arrived, the receptionist claimed there was no vacancy and tried to charge extra because it was an online booking. He arrogantly told us to wait while he checked, then within a minute or two brought a boy with keys to a room with two separate beds, though we'd booked one bed. It was late, so we went to the room. The hotel was dirty, and all the rooms seemed vacant. I think the receptionist was bluffing to rent rooms for more money. The place looked and smelled like a bhoot bungalow. The receptionist is a big fraud of lakdikapul. A waste of a stay, try other options.

The room was in very bad condition, with no working wifi and no cleaning or maintenance. Don't go here by yourself or with your partner.

The rooms were shabby and hadn't been properly cleaned. There were small cockroaches in the bed.
