OYO Townhouse White Ridge 112 Shivam Road

The lift works, and there’s a lot of parking. The staff were friendly, but the price felt a bit high for the service. There’s no kitchen, just a sleeping room, and the reception was bad. The ambiance was below bad, even though the original design was creative. The photos seem to be from launch day. I had a serious bed bug problem and was still suffering from it two weeks after returning.

There were cockroaches all over the room, and I saw them run from under the mattress after asking for the stained sheets to be removed. The staff didn’t seem bothered, and neither did the manager. The sheets had all sorts of marks, but when I asked for clean ones, a staff member said they were oil stains and would be on all the sheets. The place was extremely dirty and unhygienic.

I left the rooms the next day and didn’t even ask for a refund. I’d booked two rooms for three days for a family trip with my parents and kids, and paid in full in advance. Both rooms smelled foul and had cockroaches roaming around. The sheets and pillows were visibly dirty and smelled bad. When we asked for fresh bedding, staff insisted it had just been changed before we arrived. I tried OYO customer care several times, but each call kept me on hold for over 30 minutes. After five calls went nowhere, leaving seemed best. This stay left me feeling that OYO rooms aren’t suitable for families. I hope this helps other travelers make an informed choice.

Nice hotel, with a good room and good service. The staff were friendly.
