A waste of money. The room smelled bad and had damp dust and cobwebs everywhere, with garbage scattered around. There was no drinking water, and room service was costly. The staff behaved poorly. The washroom flush didn’t work, so I had to pour water using a broken bracket in the English style toilet.

I can’t speak to how the lodge operates, but it also has a hostel, which I found pretty decent compared with others. Sreenu from the support staff is responsive, though management is lenient. If you’re planning to stay in a hostel, you can have a decent visit.

I booked a room three times, and each time the hotel manager refused check-in. OYO then cancelled the booking and returned my money, which they handled well. But I was left without anywhere to rest and had to leave the city after a sleepless night drive. Booking a room was the worst experience I’ve had. Thanks, OYO, for the pathetic service and experience.

Rooms start at 400, and for that price it’s just about fair if you’re travelling alone or with a male friend. Not all the rooms are clean or tidy, so it’s just okay. I wouldn’t suggest it for families.
