Rajdhani Residency by OYO Rooms

The room was dirty when I got in, and neither the AC nor the TV worked. I contacted the service team and manager, but they just said they couldn't do anything and sent me to the booking site's customer service. I came here for an exam, and this awful service ruined my day. I lost 1600 rupees too. Please don't book here or waste your money.

I only picked this hotel because my exam centre was nearby, and I regret it. Even though I had booked through make my trip, they refused to check me in. I'd been calling since 12pm and nobody answered, and they hadn't bothered to tell me earlier that the hotel was full. The receptionist was rude, telling me to contact customer care because he couldn't help. It's irresponsible and inhumane to cancel someone's booking like this, especially a female traveller with an exam the next day. Don't book here if you want to feel safe.

Getting to the hotel from Secunderabad Railway Station seems straightforward: there are bus stops on either side, depending on which exit you use, and I think a direct bus goes to the stop near the hotel, called autonagar. The area itself wasn't appealing, and without a clear sign I wouldn't have known it was a residential hotel. The exterior was dirty and the place felt dark and unwelcoming. Inside, my room smelled bad and wasn't clean. The beds were dusty, and the TV didn't work, just sat there as decoration. Hot water was available, but so hot it irritated my skin. They supplied two bottles of drinking water worth 7 rupees each, two 10-rupee soaps and two 1-rupee shampoos. Any more water costs extra. At night, vehicle horns and noises at the door made it hard to sleep. The two people at reception didn't seem professional in how they dealt with customers. Breakfast is only served from 8:30 to 9:30 AM, so anyone checking out before 8 AM won't get it, which is inconvenient for an early departure after an overnight stay. Nearby places to eat are limited and unclean. There might be one restaurant, and it only serves biryani. I wouldn't recommend this for families. For the price, my stay was disappointing.

I hadn't booked OYO in a while after some bad experiences, and this stay was another one. The rooms were dirty and didn't match the way they were advertised. Basic things like a towel, soap, and hot water weren't provided.
