Sana Heritage Inn Guest House

The rooftop dinner on weekends is a lovely experience, with live music and nice decorations under the open sky. The complimentary breakfast is tasty and more than enough, though meals from the restaurant are quite good but a little expensive. The Heritage inn hotel is in a central spot in Gulbarga and is well maintained, making for a comfortable short stay. The air conditioned rooms are small, but the attached washrooms are well equipped. There isn't parking inside the compound, but they arrange secure parking just outside. I'd recommend it for a short visit to Gulbarga.

The location is a real strong point, with a lively market all around. Room amenities are good, but cleanliness and service are average. There was no daily housekeeping, and I had to call several times just to get the dustbin emptied. Sometimes a bad smell came into the room in the early morning.

I was working at nearby KIMS Hospital, and staying here helped me recover from being tired. The staff were very cooperative and gave quick, good service. I needed breakfast before the usual breakfast time and they arranged it. When I had trouble changing the channel, they replaced the setup box right away. The many small, quick, helpful services were much appreciated.

I stayed four days on an office trip, and as someone who's quite choosy, I had nothing to complain about. The location is superb and felt completely safe. There are lots of places nearby for snacks, lunch, or dinner, and the tea at Chai Shai Bar is awesome. If you're visiting Begumpet, this budget friendly hotel is a good pick. You'll like it.
