Sunrise Business Hotel

I was in Hyderabad on business and stayed at Sunrise Business Hotel. It was clean and well maintained, with compact rooms laid out thoughtfully for work, including a proper desk and chair. The linen was fresh, the bathroom spotless, and the rooms matched the online photos. Staff were helpful throughout, and room service was prompt. Breakfast cost Rs 150 and was good value, with hygienic food such as idly, upma, sandwich, boiled egg, bread-butter, and tea. Getting around was easy: the hotel is near Begumpet, S R Nagar Metro Station on the Red Line is a short walk away, and Secunderabad Railway Station is about 15-20 minutes by auto rickshaw. I arrived by train around 7 AM and paid Rs 500 for an 8 AM early check-in, which was worth it after an overnight journey. Check-in was smooth. I also paid Rs 300 to upgrade from a Standard Room to a more spacious and comfortable Superior Room. I booked through MakeMyTrip. When my plans changed on the last day, the hotel management approved a refund request through MMT even though the booking was non-refundable. I received the refund minus the standard charges. Thanks to Mr. Venkat and Mr. Sanjeev for helping me. Their support showed a willingness to assist guests in a difficult situation. At around Rs 1500-1800, it's excellent value. I'd recommend it for business trips and short stays in Hyderabad.

I felt unsafe in this very congested, crowded area, especially because some people stared and made me uncomfortable. The property itself was below average, and I don't think this locality is safe for women. There are no women working in housekeeping anywhere in the hotel. Breakfast wasn't complimentary, and even after paying INR 370 -400, I found it pathetic. They didn't even offer an egg omelette, which I consider a very basic restaurant food. Towels were missing, and I had to ask before they provided a dental kit. The old elevator system wouldn't close even after multiple attempts. When I told the front office employee I'd tried several times, he still spoke to me rudely and told me to close it. My overall experience was very poor, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The location is prime, the rooms are well maintained, and the washroom was super hygienic. Pet Pooja Restaurant served top-notch food with authentic taste, which I loved. The staff were polite and very supportive. I left feeling completely satisfied with the stay.

The room and bathroom were clean, and there were no cockroaches. Breakfast was good and complimentary. We had a booking issue during our stay, but the manager later apologized, and I'm glad we cleared the air. I hope communication with customers is better going forward. We were charged Rs.600 for early check-in because their policy sets check-in at 1.00pm and checkout at 10.00 am. Even after we paid the full amount, they hadn't said it was non-refundable. They also hadn't mentioned the extra charge for card payments or the rules against outside visitors and outside food. Those restrictions were only on a small board.
