Tripura Resorts

The meals were a highlight, exceptionally tasty and freshly prepared. Every dish we tried was delicious and better than we expected. Our room was surprisingly spacious and had all the facilities we needed, from comfortable bedding to well-arranged amenities. The whole resort was exceptionally clean and well maintained, making it pleasant and comfortable right away. Staff were very friendly and always ready to help. We had a great getaway and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, enjoyable stay.

The location is great and the place is nice, but service was pathetic and food choices were limited. We were told more menu items would be available only when occupancy was high, which meant we kept hearing, "Sir, we dont have this, we dont have that" when trying to order. At lunch, I asked why listed items weren't available, and they said there weren't many guests. The same thing happened at dinner when I tried to order Biryani. Should customers have to check how full the resort is before booking to know if food will be available? There were no food options for kids, yet this is presented as a family vacation spot. The room we were first given had an intercom problem, so it was changed when we asked. Then the QR code in the room didn't work for ordering food. Room service said they'd send the menu on whats app, meaning we'd have to scroll through page after page on holiday. After I asked, they brought a printed menu instead. If you can compromise on food, this place may suit you, since the location itself is good.

The restaurant food was exceptional, including the delicious buffet, and the restaurant staff were really good. The peaceful atmosphere and landscaping were pleasant, and I didn't see mosquitoes. It's a good getaway from the city and not too far despite the traffic. The spacious, comfortable room was worth the money, aside from the frustrating issues. At check-in, staff didn't greet us or smile, and there was no welcome drink. The noisy AC sounded cheap and echoed through the large room, disturbing sleep. The bathroom had no soap holder, and the exhaust fan didn't work. Though many people work here, these basics suggest maintenance isn't consistent. The pedal boat made a lot of noise too. I'm not sure if that's normal or a maintenance issue, but the water needs cleaning: I could see spoons and dirt at the bottom. I had to wake at 6 in the morning because a watchman kept whistling behind the rooms, completely disturbing my sleep. The place looks good, but the details I mentioned need attention. I'll come back, and if nothing changes my review will stay as it is. I may change it if they take my feedback seriously.

There's plenty to do here, including a small children's play area, indoor snooker, chess and carroms, a small gym, and outdoor cricket and volleyball. The swimming pool has a few slides and is shallow enough for anyone to get in and enjoy. There's also raindance, self-pedal boating on a central lake surrounded by the rooms, a convention centre with a lawn, day outings, and a small space where rabbits are kept captive. Food is decent, and housekeeping, gardening, and reception were wonderful. The place is on the Shankarpally - Chevella Highway. Prices are reasonable, the property is cleanly maintained, and it has good facilities. Excellent stay.
