Even basic things were missing: there was no hot water and the TV didn't work. Complaints were handled badly, and after taking the full payment upfront, the owner was arrogant. GST was also added at billing without having been disclosed earlier. This seems like an unfair trade practice, so I'm proceeding with complaints to the appropriate authorities.
Once you've paid upfront, management offers no support. There was no hot water, the TV didn't work, and they didn't seem to care. Avoid this place if you value your money.
Rexon Residency is conveniently located for getting to nearby places, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and kept in good condition. Staff were polite and helpful, responding quickly when we needed something. I had a comfortable stay at a reasonable price, and would recommend it to anyone visiting Kattappana for a short visit or a longer stay.
The standard rooms are good, but the suite is much better. The bathroom in a standard room isn't good.

The owner blamed the high number of bookings, which made it seem like the water heater was shared or couldn't handle the demand. The reception desk was left unattended, so we had to call the owner on his mobile whenever we needed help.
