Blue Leaf By Papaya Tree

After covering 2500 km non-stop, I had a really good stay at The Blueleaf by Papaya Tree Hotel near the Dhule Mumbai Bypass. It was great value for the price. The rooms were spacious, clean, and thoughtfully decorated, with modern touches. They had all the amenities I needed, including a mini fridge and electric kettle. Room service was quick, and the staff were kind, helpful, and attentive. Check-in went smoothly, and reception helped promptly whenever I needed anything. The property was green and well kept, with peaceful surroundings, relaxing common areas, a lovely pool, and a lively restaurant, as shown in the attached images. A memorable stay and a great choice if you’re passing through or staying near Dhule.

The rooms and location were decent, but the service let the stay down. Staff repeatedly called to ask whether my guest had left, which felt intrusive and embarrassing. At the complimentary breakfast, service was very slow, and several items had run out. They only replenished them after we asked multiple times. For a premium price, I expected much better hospitality. Staff management needs a lot of improvement.

My mama’s wedding at Blue Leaf by Papaya Tree Hotel was a very disappointing experience. The rooms weren’t properly maintained and didn’t meet expectations. Throughout the event, basic coordination was missing and the staff were uncooperative. A wedding should be a happy occasion, but the management made it stressful instead of memorable. I wouldn’t recommend this place for family functions or weddings.

At my cousin’s wedding, the unreliable lift became a real problem. This is a five-floor hotel with just one lift, and it was painfully slow, so guests had long waits, especially during the functions. Families and elderly guests were left dealing with chaos. The rooms were uncomfortable and maintenance was poor, while repeated complaints didn’t lead staff to properly fix anything. The other issues were serious. Water poured from the washroom heater whenever we turned on a faucet, which felt unsafe, and the heater barely worked, so hot water was a constant problem. Half the hotel’s AC units weren’t working. When the AC was on, the main power kept tripping and the lights dimmed or went out. The electrical system seemed overloaded and badly maintained, creating what I felt was a serious fire and safety hazard. This place wasn’t worth the money or stress, especially for an important family event. I’d never recommend it.
