Raghunandan Resort

There wasn’t a working kitchen at the resort, so we had to order through Zomato. Staff didn’t seem proactive about making sure guests were comfortable. The place is far from the main city, with nothing interesting to visit nearby, and there was nothing particularly good about the resort. Pets are allowed.

There was no kids’ pool, and the games on offer were limited to badminton, a cricket bat, and a swing. The kitchen was closed, so we had to go out for dinner. They also wouldn’t let us charge an EV at the resort. Breakfast was upma and poha, both okay, but the coffee wasn’t good. No other meals or snacks were included. UPI was accepted, though credit card payments came with a 3% service fee. The room cost Rs 3500 and had no bathtub. The room itself was just okay.

The only real plus for me was how close the property is to Sula Vineyards. It’s quiet, with trees around, and fenced so it’s pet friendly. But the building is old, and both the rooms and bathrooms were in very poor shape. The photos don’t match what you get in person. If comfort matters to you, this stay isn’t worth it.

The swimming pool was very clean, and the staff were helpful. They would take our food order, place it with a nearby restaurant, and bring it to our room, which was useful since the resort has no restaurant. Our room was neat and clean, and room service was good. I had an awesome experience.
