Fabhotel Royal Palace

A horrible stay. If you can't arrange a room, why offer one? Everything was just pathetic, and all 14 people I brought were very disappointed. The Fab hotels chain has gone down in my view.

The sheets and curtains were filthy, and the bathroom doors weren't proper. There was no cleanliness at all, along with plenty of other awful things. One of the worst hotels I've visited so far.

The outside looked polished and upscale, but the room was a very different story during my June 7-9, 2025 stay. The sheets and pillowcases were heavily stained and felt unwashed, and I found several cockroaches on the bed. The washroom had a stale, unpleasant smell and clearly hadn't been cleaned well. The towels were worn and stained too. I've seen other guests make similar complaints about dirty linens, bugs, filthy bathrooms, and bad odors at OYO/FabHotel Royal Palace locations. They also wouldn't allow visitors in the rooms. The explanation, “People only visit rooms to call girls,” was offensive and brushed aside other legitimate reasons a guest might want to meet someone. Reviews on Reddit and Google mention no visitor-policy issue at better hotels, so this restriction felt unnecessary and discriminatory. The exterior gives a much better impression than the actual hygiene, comfort, and visitor policy. I'd avoid this place. Nearby options like FabHotel, Sayaji, Ginger, or Radisson may be better; many guests praise their cleanliness, hospitality, and visitor policies. I hope this helps travelers choose and prompts the hotel to address these problems.

The service was really bad. The jet spray on the commode wasn't working properly. I complained, but they didn't fix it, so we had to put up with the problem all day.
