Hotel Apna Avenue

We only visited the restaurant, and service was impressively fast. They got our request to use less salt in every dish just right. We tried lahsuni palak, paneer lababdar, and nagrisi kofta, all of which were great. The moong halwa stood out most, with its sweetness balanced just right. I’d recommend eating here.

The location is convenient and easy to reach, and the staff were courteous, cooperative, and quick to help. Hotel Apna Avenue was clean, with rooms kept in good shape. I found it comfortable for either a family visit or a business stay.

Hotel Apanaa is in a convenient spot close to key parts of the city, yet it felt peaceful during my stay. The food was a highlight: breakfast and room service were fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. Restaurant staff were attentive, happy to customize dishes, and consistently quick and cheerful. My room was calm and comfortable, with a modern feel and the amenities I needed. The bed was very soft, the linen fresh, and the room smelled pleasant. Housekeeping came daily and kept everything spotless. The staff were welcoming from the start, and check-in was smooth and professional. They were polite and available to help with transport, local suggestions, or anything needed for comfort. The management clearly takes care of the property, and the cleanliness and service reflect that. I had a very comfortable visit and enjoyed my time there. I’d recommend Hotel Apanaa for clean rooms, good food, and warm service, and I’ll choose it again on a future trip.

The good points were the hotel’s location and the quality of the restaurant food. The rest of my stay at Apana Avenue Hotel was disappointing. The facilities felt merely okay, the wardrobes were old, and there wasn’t even an electric kettle or tea and coffee sachets for morning bed tea. For the price and positioning, that was a significant gap. The manager was also unhelpful and came across as needlessly arrogant. We asked to use a room for a couple of hours for someone who felt unwell, but he said none were available, despite a few empty rooms being visible on the other side. Some empathy would have helped. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again unless both the amenities and the way guests are treated improve. The day before, we called to book and were told someone would check availability and get back to us. No one called. We ended up booking through Makemytrip. When we mentioned on arrival that they hadn’t called back, we got no clear answer, which made it feel as if they didn’t care.
