Hotel Aston

The meal was decent, around 7/10, with a few good menu choices but nothing special. Service could have been quicker. My room was functional, though its overall feel was only average, about 6/10. There was no fan regulator, and the switchboard was far from the bed, which was inconvenient. The property needs maintenance and refurbishment, and more attention to room details could make the price feel fairer. At ₹2500 a night for one person, I thought the cost was a bit high for the comfort and amenities offered. Finding the hotel took some effort at first, tucked on the service lane near Bombay Hospital. First-time visitors may need to ask around or use maps carefully because the signs aren’t very prominent. Once there, check-in was smooth.

Check-in went smoothly, the room was cozy, neat, and clean, and the hospitality was good. I had an amazing, comfortable stay overall.

The rates were affordable, but my stay at Hotel Aston in Indore was very disappointing. I had to switch rooms three times because they were visibly dirty or poorly maintained. In one room, a light wouldn’t turn off and kept us from sleeping. When I complained, staff literally told us to put something over it. Food trays were left outside room doors for hours, creating a bad smell along the floor, and the surfaces, linens, and bathroom all lacked basic cleanliness. For a budget stay, I still expected a minimum level of hygiene and service. I won’t return or recommend it.

The staff were pleasant, calm, and supportive, and the room was clean and okay for a single family. The hotel is in a prime location in bijaynagar, about 6-7 km from the station and around 10 km from the airport.
