Shyama Sarovar Portico

We had a wonderful stay at Shyama Sarovar Portico, Orai. The calm, elegant atmosphere works well for business or leisure, and the rooms were spacious, well kept, and thoughtfully designed. Staff were prompt, courteous, and welcoming. The food was delicious and hygienic, with a nice variety for different tastes. Comfort, cleanliness, professionalism, and attention to detail make it a standout choice in Orai. I highly recommend it and would happily return.

There's plenty of parking inside the property, but none of it is covered. The hotel is right beside the highway, so there's not much to do nearby. The rooms are bright and spacious, with warm lighting, and the staff were helpful and well behaved.

We went to this venue for a wedding, and the rooms were much too expensive for their quality. The food was below average, and I wouldn't recommend hosting a wedding here. Check-in was chaotic because management was poor, and nobody seemed ready to help guests. The staff came across as rude and unprofessional, as if they couldn't handle basic responsibilities. For what they charge, I expected much better. Put that money toward a wedding at home or another venue that values its guests and provides proper service. If you're considering a destination wedding, don't choose this place.

The best part of my stay at Shyama Sarovar Portico was Ms. Bristi at reception. She's professional and helpful, but also so kind and friendly. The way she greets and looks after guests makes you feel at ease right away. Her positive vibe made half the tiredness of travel disappear just from talking with her. She's doing an amazing job, and the hotel is lucky to have her. If every guest gets welcomed like that, they'll become a fan too, like me 😄 Keep smiling and shining.
