OYO 1546 The Sensation Hotel

The rooms are fine, but service is really poor. It can take an hour to get hot water or even a simple tea, and things need to improve immediately. Staff seem to prioritize party guests over people staying at the hotel. Loud music can go on until 1 am, though if you’re lucky it may stop by midnight. The location is poor, with limited transport options, and there’s no nearby food place. There’s a Dmart store nearby, with some pani puri hawkers around it. I enjoyed that the most. Breakfast choices are very limited, so I wouldn’t book the hotel with breakfast included.

I booked through OYO and stayed for two nights. The rooms were spacious, clean, and good, and the complimentary breakfast was amazing, with lots of options. Lunch and dinner were great too, the chef seems to be very good :p The hotel is a little far from the city, and at night there were cockroaches in the washrooms. No toilet kit was provided. It didn’t matter much to me, though it might matter to someone else. The hotel is good, but it could be better. 👍

We only came for dinner at the top-floor restaurant, not to stay overnight. The food was good, the staff were polite, and the management seemed fine. There was a projector screen showing IPL, and the seating and lighting were great. The view was cool, though the nearby area is all under construction and might look even better in a few years. The location feels a bit shady, tucked inside a side road, but you can spot the tall building from far away.

Breakfast had few choices, and the linen and mattresses were dirty even though the room itself was fairly clean. The hotel is remote, with limited ways to get around. They also charged an extra 300₹ for early check-in, but it wasn’t added to the bill. It could work as a quick fresh-up stop, but I wouldn’t recommend staying there.
