OYO 81349 Townhouse Friends Inn

The room hadn't been cleaned after the previous guests, and there were cockroaches crawling around. The mattresses were badly damaged and noisy when you changed position, the sheets and pillow covers were torn, and no toiletries were provided. Hygiene was poor, and the rooms looked much worse than the pictures on booking apps. They also demanded extra money for my online booking, saying they couldn't afford to rent at that rate. Worst stay ever, highly not recommended.

I've been staying here for work in Indore for the past three months, at least 10 to 12 days each month. It's near my client's office in Princess sky business park, and it's become my regular place. I originally chose it because it was the closest option, despite some issues, but things have improved a lot over the last month: the property is much cleaner, the rates have been adjusted, the kitchen stays open until midnight, and the staff's behavior has completely changed, which matters most to me. The rooms get good light and air, the washrooms are large, and the location works well. Earlier problems included high rates, no kitchen access, cleanliness, and rude behavior. I've also seen plenty of leisure travelers with their families here.

I came from New Delhi to Indore for a vacation and had used OYO for three to four years, but this stay was a terrible decision. I booked two rooms at OYO Friends Inn, booking ID FF3R2744, paid in advance, and confirmed with both the property and customer support. When we arrived around 8 PM, the staff asked why we'd paid online, refused to give us rooms, and demanded extra money. They offered just one room for the two we'd booked. After a long call with OYO support, they finally gave us the rooms, but treated us rudely afterward. The rooms hadn't been cleaned properly and seemed recently used. They were non-AC rooms, the TV didn't work, and used condom packets were left in the washroom. My money was wasted on the poorest service I've had with OYO, and I can get a much better deal from other brands. I want my money back. Please investigate, warn the property, and tell me what action OYO takes.

The receptionist took my phone at checkout and fraudulently left a five-star rating for the hotel. The AC and WiFi weren't working, and the staff were extremely rude. I booked for 899 rupees but was charged 1400. This is one of the worst hotels I've visited, not even worth one star.
