Hotel Gulzar Towers

While we and our guests were still at the food table, senior staff came over several times demanding that we settle the full amount immediately. Even though we had agreements in place, they kept pressuring us to pay before the event had ended. It was embarrassing and showed little courtesy or respect for the occasion. I’m extremely disappointed with how the hotel handled our marriage function. The owner and senior staff were disrespectful and unprofessional, adding stress to what should have been one of the most memorable days of our lives. Rather than making sure things ran smoothly and guests were looked after, management made the day uncomfortable. Future customers should be cautious and clarify payment terms in advance. Based on our experience, the management’s conduct fell far below the service standards we expected.

They seem to care about collecting money before the function, but not about providing service. The management is awful. Be careful about sitting under the fans, one could fall at any time and someone could get hurt. I complained, and the manager said they’d see what they could do if a fan fell on someone. A fan has fallen, with a plate on the nearby table. It’s awful. Please think carefully before booking gulzar. Worst service and management.

Food is the clear highlight here, and the staff are welcoming, friendly, and polite. The rooms are clean and fairly spacious, and the location is central and convenient. But it’s right beside a busy road, so it’s not a great pick if you want peace and quiet. A lot of the furnishings and equipment feel old, including the ACs, fans, mattresses, and furniture. In my room, the fan was noisy at high speed and wouldn’t run at low speed, while the AC was even louder. The towel, chair, and mattress were clean, but stained and worn. At ₹3800 + GST, the tariff doesn’t feel fair. With just a little more, you can get a 5-star room in this city. I’d put a reasonable rate for this property at ₹2200-2500.

The wedding arrangements and decorations looked fantastic, and the food was great too. We had a lot of fun with family and friends. It was a great experience.
