Hotel Soumya Sarovar

I appreciated how quiet it was, as long as people in neighboring rooms kept their doors shut. Carpet in the corridors helps stop sound from echoing through the concrete building, and the residential area doesn’t have much traffic noise. Staff were efficient and discreet, without shouting like in many hotels. The attached restaurant serves very good vegetarian food and delicious breakfasts. Rooms aren’t very big, but they’re comfortable with large beds. There’s no fridge, though I didn’t need one much in winter. The Wi-Fi in the rooms needs improvement.

The breakfast was delicious, with a good mix of options and quality, and the pleasant atmosphere made the mornings even better. The staff were polite and helpful, keeping things comfortable from arrival to departure. Everything was clean and well cared for. Good value for money, excellent service, and I’d happily stay again.

The service was terrible, and the management was very poor. They gave no help with the restaurant and wouldn’t provide a menu, while also refusing to let guests bring in outside food. They said you either had to go elsewhere to eat or have your food inspected by them. I found that completely unacceptable. If you have personal belongings or specific needs, don’t book here. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

The rooms are well maintained, the food is yummy, and the service was excellent. Thank you very much for the great service.
