Windsor Cottages

The place had a nice ambience, though the narrow road to the cottage felt a little risky. We stayed for two nights, and the staff were supportive, but there was a bad incident. No TV remote was in the room before we checked in, yet the next day they accused me of stealing it and charged me extra. Their behavior was disrespectful and unacceptable. I felt customer satisfaction didn’t matter to them and that they only wanted money. They also charged a huge amount for small things, ₹300 per heater per night and ₹500 for a campfire. Take a video of the whole room before checking in, as proof.

I came back to this cottage after five years, and the hospitality is still just as amazing. The staff remain warm, polite, and helpful. Mr. Sachin, the owner of Windsor Cottage, deserves appreciation for keeping the standards high and the atmosphere positive. There’s a rare sense of peace and comfort here. If you’re visiting Lansdowne, I’d personally recommend staying at Windsor Cottage. It’s simply the best.

The building and structure are nice, and I liked the theme, so it’s a nice place to stay. But the service was awful. The staff seemed inexperienced, and food quality was inconsistent. I guess they were short on the right staff who know how to deal with guests.

We had an amazing vacation at Windsor with our two kids and parents. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the staff very friendly, and the food fresh and delicious. There’s enough parking, and the place is well connected to the roads. A perfect spot for a holiday.
