Fabhotel Sarvika

The location was easy to find by following Gmaps, but the rooms were quite small, as expected, around 10x10 or 10x12. Cleanliness was poor. As soon as we entered, we asked to change rooms, but the service person only changed the bedsheet and pillow covers. We booked through Fab rather than Oyo because hygiene mattered to us. Service also needs a lot of work: we had to ask for towels and toiletries, and the receptionist didn't know about our FabHotels booking because he couldn't access the portal. Even though we had booked four nights, he kept asking for our room number or whether we were checking out whenever we went out. The water bottle at check-in was charged too. The stay was average until that charge made it a below-average experience.

Before booking, check the details and confirm everything at the hotel. I reserved a basic AC room through OYO, but they changed the booking to an upgrade and charged me ₹400 extra. Even after paying, they gave me the same room I'd booked in the OYO app, with no extra amenities. I didn't even get basics like drinking water, a towel, shampoo, or soap. The sheets and pillows hadn't been changed either, and looked as if another guest had used them and they were just tucked back in without washing.

The bathroom door was broken, the toilets weren't clean, the AC leaked water right above the bed, and the pillow covers were torn. Paint was peeling off the walls, and service was pathetic. We only got a room after paying an extra 400 rupees when we arrived with our Oyo booking. Please avoid staying here.

At the last minute, you moved me to a shady hotel because the one I booked had no rooms available. If you couldn't accommodate me, you should have arranged somewhere of a similar standard. This place wasn't up to standard or worth what I paid. The area was noisy enough that I had to call the police to get the noise lowered. I want a refund.
