Having attached bathrooms was convenient, but little else stood out. The rooms were cramped and not very clean, and our request for adjoining rooms wasn't met. Travelling with children, that meant they had to stay in a separate room while we kept going back and forth to check on them. The narrow entrance was awkward to get through with luggage. The location is handy, right in the heart of Jaipur, so nearby attractions are easy to reach. It might work for a short visit focused on location, but families wanting more comfort, cleanliness, or a better room setup may want to look elsewhere.

Being by the bazaar made the location useful, and it was still fairly quiet. The bed was comfortable, but I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it. Communication was awful: there was no front desk, nobody answered the phone, and check-in dragged on. I was shown one room and then moved to a worse one. There was no water at night or in the morning, and I was told to use a different bathroom. The entrance is a small sign off the sidewalk and a very narrow hallway. Wet paint made the passage even harder to use in the morning, and staff saw me struggling without warning me or putting up a sign. For 700 rupees, this was a poor experience.

The rooms were clean and nice, and the location worked well. Badi Chaupar Metro, gate no. 4, is about a five-minute walk away.

Tripolia Bazaar is right nearby, yet the place stays surprisingly peaceful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the home felt cool and airy. Preeti greeted us warmly when we arrived, and the family-run hospitality made up for the fact that the shower only ran cold. A lovely stay.

City Palace and Hawa Mahal are only about a five-minute walk away, which was very handy. The rooms are simple but comfortable for the price, despite the small hotel entrance. The large bathroom was clean, with a reliable shower, geyser, and hot water all day, and a towel was provided. Parking wasn't offered at the hotel, so we paid ₹400 for two days and nights at a nearby paid lot. I also wish there'd been a full-length mirror, since the bathroom one wasn't practical for getting ready. On my last day I spotted a small mouse in the room and put my luggage in the cupboard. Sealing the little gaps under the door might help prevent that.
