Hotel Dharohar Palace

Late at night I could clearly hear people talking, and it was impossible to sleep. The next morning, management's owner flatly denied that this could have happened, saying the hotel was empty and nobody was awake at that hour. It felt genuinely haunted. If you want a peaceful night's sleep, avoid this place.

We paid 600bucks for a day. The rooms weren't very clean, but for the price I'd say it was worth it. It was a very unusual stay for me, and could work for a solo traveler or friends who just need somewhere to rest for a while.

The main gate closes at 10 pm, but they only tell you this once you arrive, not on booking sites like booking, agoda etc. In a standard room, there's AC and a TV, but they say those aren't included, and there was no soap or slipper. We also rented an activa. After we paid Rs 400 for 12 hour, we were told its seat lock didn't work, so we ended the tour carrying our helmets. Check the vehicle and helmets before paying.

I travel to jaipur a lot this year, and this was my worst experience. The area felt too weird and the rooms were awful. The rate on agoda is different, and the owner asks for more if you book through agoda. Service was very bad. There was no tv, the water heater didn't work, and nobody fixed the problem. The main point is this is the worst place to stay.
