Hotel Thikana Palace

The staff were so kind that they let us leave our luggage after checkout, and later freshen up at the hotel for free. Rooms and the surroundings were clean, and there was hot water for showers all day, plus free Wi-Fi. It’s budget-friendly, with very good service, friendly people, and a restaurant that makes food to order.

The rooms were clean and looked after, especially considering the price, and the hotel feels like good value for money. Getting around is easy since it’s very close to both the railway and metro stations, which helps with arrivals, departures, and sightseeing. Guests also speak well of the helpful, polite staff and their responsive service.

At this price, what more could you ask for? The room and bathroom were clean, and the staff helpful. It’s an easy walk to the railway junction and metro, with restaurants and places to eat nearby.

The room felt like a tiny shelter, with barely any space once you stepped inside. I’d paid 10,000 for three nights and an extra mattress, but there was no room to put it. When I asked for a three-bed room, they charged me another 4,500. No water bottle was provided, and breakfast cost extra even though I’d added it. The food was oily and full of coloring, and the lift wasn’t working. Don’t take taxis to get around Jaipur either, they work with the hotel for commissions and fool you. It’s a whole lobby. Don’t book here or you’ll regret spending so much. The hotel and staff are ghatiya se ghatiya se ghatiya. It’s called a palace, but looks like a dharmasala.
