The restaurant recommendation was a letdown too. The hotel strongly suggested LMB, but the prices felt extremely inflated and the food quality was nowhere near what LMB used to be known for. It didn’t feel worth a penny, and the place came across more like a tourist trap than the LMB people remember from years ago. Online hype shouldn’t fool you. The hotel stay itself was far below expectations because the staff showed no willingness to help. I’d bought some local Jaipur specialty food items to take home and asked the front desk manager politely if they could keep them in the fridge for 1-2 hours before my flight. I wasn’t planning to eat them there, so the “no outside food” policy didn’t seem relevant. They refused outright and were rude about it. Between the poor dining recommendation and the unhelpful staff, I can’t recommend this hotel. If respectful service and genuine guidance matter to you, look elsewhere.

The service was excellent, and a few simple, basic dishes we tried on our second visit really hit the spot. We ate there twice after quite a few people recommended it. The food was decent, though we found much better meals in several other places. It has become so touristy that the straightforward local flavors seem to have given way to dishes with similar-tasting masala.

The rooms were okay, but not worth the price. The hotel is overpriced, and the road in front gets very heavy traffic. There’s no private parking, so you have to leave the car on the public road along the main market. The refrigerator was damaged, and they provided a water jug instead of bottled water. There was no shower gel or shampoo.

The food was disappointing for the price, and the portions felt too small. Staff were short on basic politeness and courtesy, so the hospitality and service were very poor. If you’re thinking of coming because of social media recommendations, I’d reconsider. It was an unsatisfactory experience.

Skip both the restaurant and the sweet shop. Everything felt ordinary, with nothing distinctive, and the food was especially bad. Highway King's food is much better. The prices also make no sense, they're far too high. And from the start of the premises to the end, people kept asking for or looking for tips.
