Magpie Villa

We spent three nights here. The neighborhood felt safe, and the place was very clean and always smelled fresh. The decor is great, the bathrooms are spotless, and the staff are kind and helpful. Since the property is smaller than a standard hotel, though, the rooms don’t get much natural ventilation. Breakfast could be better too. It costs extra and doesn’t feel like good value.

The owner, Amita, was really helpful with our questions and went out of her way to make us feel at home. We loved the calm atmosphere, clean room, and nice bathroom. We’d definitely recommend staying here.

We’re hooked on this place and always enjoy the positive atmosphere and hospitality. It’s a very convenient, cost-effective place to stay in Jaipur, with all the facilities you could ask for. While you’re there, ask the hostess about the "Jaipur Food Tour". The guide takes you through the old city’s alleys, shares stories about its past Kings, and lets you sample Jaipur delicacies.

We came in our own vehicle with our dog, and the owner was fine with the pet. I learned that other guests had stayed here with their pets too. There’s parking at the Villa, though I think it can fit two guest cars at most. The place has a really nice atmosphere and a central location.
