The main drawback is the location: it's in a residential area, public transport is at least 0.5 km away on foot, and the nearest restaurant is 1 km away. There are very few food options nearby, and the hotel doesn't have a restaurant. They also don't accept cards, so payment has to be in cash or UPI. On the plus side, the palace-themed hotel has good vibes, the rooms are very clean and well maintained, there's 24-hour hot water in the washroom, and breakfast was OK.

Our host Mr Dilip was charming and helpful, even bringing small heaters for our rooms so we could stay warm in January. The haveli and its spacious rooms were beautiful, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was made fresh to order, hot and delicious, with eggs, potatoes and toast. I asked for cooked spinach and they were happy to make it. Excellent stay!

We stayed three nights and had a lovely time. Mr. Dilip and his staff were very kind and attentive, and the place was quite clean. The breakfast in the dining room downstairs was tasty. The rooftop is a nice spot to relax, though we only discovered it on our last day. Just for planning, there's no elevator, and it's a little way from the city center. Neither was a problem for us because we had a car.

Our train was delayed, so we took a walk around the nearby nursery, where there are around 300 peacocks as well as other wildlife. It was fantastic to see. Dilip was welcoming and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. We explored during the day and ate here in the evening. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and cold beers were available too. The chai, flavored with ginger, is the best. Highly recommended.

Mr. Dilip kindly upgraded our rooms when we visited recently. The place felt charming, vibrant and clean, with the spirit of Jaipur, modern but rooted in tradition. We had a wonderful stay and received excellent hospitality. Already getting ready for the next trip!
