Nahargarh Haveli

The rooms were neat and clean as usual, and we appreciated the good breakfast. We’ve stayed at Nahargarh Haveli regularly and have always liked its comfort, cleanliness, and hospitality, so this recent visit was disappointing. At check-in, the receptionist was rude and unprofessional. He couldn’t communicate in Hindi, which made it hard to explain what we needed. When we asked for rooms near each other or on the same floor, he seemed more occupied talking and laughing with housekeeping than listening to us. We felt ignored and disrespected. There didn’t seem to be a responsible senior person around who cared about guest satisfaction, and we noticed a similar lack of attention in the restaurant. We know the hotel may have been busy over New Year, but basic courtesy still matters. Some staff may have changed recently, because this wasn’t the experience we’re used to here. We hope the feedback leads to improvements and that our next stay is better.

Breakfast was tasty every day, with a good range of choices. The rooms were clean and tidy, and Mr. Ibrahim, the property caretaker, was polite and very helpful with whatever we needed. All the staff stayed active and gave great service throughout our visit. We’d happily return and recommend staying here.

The restaurant on the 4th floor was a real highlight. Arvind ji paid attention to every little detail, along with Bachan ji, and both were warm and welcoming. The food was delicious, and the setting was pleasant. We were three family members staying for 2 nights and 3 days. The location made it easy to get around by metro or road. Staff were friendly and glad to help, and our room felt cozy and homely, with good upkeep and all the amenities. I’d rate the stay four plus stars.

We weren't very happy with the hotel. The room and bathroom felt cramped and made us a bit uncomfortable. Restaurant service was average, and the vegetarian food didn't taste very good.
