Natraj Palace

The food was the highlight for us at Natraj Palace Hotel. Dal, Roti, Paneer, Aloo Matar and Aloo Paratha were all delicious and made fresh to order, though it’s best to order ahead since preparation takes time. Morning tea came promptly, and the manager was polite throughout. It’s really a house converted into a homely place to stay, in a quiet residential area, rather than a full-service hotel. The front-facing rooms were spacious and well kept, and the location was convenient. Services and amenities are limited compared with a larger hotel, but the rates are reasonable for a simple, comfortable budget stay.

I stayed at Natraj Hotel in Jaipur with a friend, and felt safe there as a girl. The rooms were well maintained, and the staff were attentive. We could order anything from the food menu. It has a heritage feel and the hospitality was amazing.

We stayed in January 2024, and the rooms and washrooms were dirty, with stains on the walls, broken toilet seats and dirty buckets. There was no hot water at first. It came the next day after I kept asking. The roof had cello tape left over, presumably from previous guests, and nobody had cleaned it. I even had to order a bucket from blinkit so I could bathe. The bedsheets were stained. The caretaker said, “This isn’t dirty, those are oil stains,” then acted as if he’d help and disappeared. There were mosquitoes everywhere, so at midnight I ordered a mosquito racket and baygon because the caretaker had neither. Staff were uncaring and unhelpful; I had to carry luggage to the rooms for myself and my family. There was no sense of hospitality. It may be a reasonable property, but it’s very poorly run. Unhygienic and a health hazard. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

We booked this by mistake. It’s a duplicate of Renowned hotel natraj jaipur, and they’re using another brand name to market it. Hopeless.
