The location is the only reason for the one star. There are several issues, and I wouldn't recommend staying here with family. The room smelled damp, the walls were damaged, and the washroom had very little space. Hot water was available from 7 AM until noon. The lift wasn't working properly. Parking was available only in the evening because the hotel is in a premium area, and there was no kitchen.

Anand Hotel is on a busy street in Raja Park, behind Guru Dwara. You can stay for a few days or a month, and the rooms are okay. Wi-Fi and AC cost extra, but the Wi-Fi keeps cutting out, and the old ACs use a lot of electricity. You have to pay for that electricity, and the rate is much too high. The elevator sometimes gets stuck, works slowly, and was out of service for a couple of hours during my stay. There's no parking, so you have to leave your car on the street, and there are no refrigerator facilities. Online bookings may not work, so you need to confirm with them. For its location, it's expensive for an otherwise average stay. 🚗 💸 ⚠️ I appreciate the response, but I won't remove my review. I have proof that I paid an electricity bill of more than ₹5,000 for one month. I was charged ₹15 per unit, when it should not have been more than ₹7.65 per unit. I understand that service problems can happen, but I want to be honest and transparent about the elevator issues.

The location was the only good part. The rooms smelled, and the sofa was old, dirty, and smelly. The bathroom was below standard, with the flush and taps not working properly. I got stuck in the toilet; after several calls, the flush started working about 30 minutes later. The bedsheet was torn, and the water wasn't filtered. Not worth the money, since you can find a much better hotel at the same location for this price. Don't book here.

The washroom wasn't clean, and we found a cockroach and a spider in it. We booked an Executive room through Goibibo but were given a Deluxe room instead. The food was very expensive and not good. It was a very bad experience. I'd suggest booking in person rather than through an app.
