The online photos set a different expectation, and the stay was disappointing. Service was below par, and there were cleanliness problems, elevator maintenance issues, and power outages at night. The bathroom facilities also needed work.

The surroundings weren't to my liking, and the room itself was in bad shape. The pillows were dirty, the bathroom hadn't been cleaned, and the whole place smelled of cigarettes. The TV and intercom didn't work either. When we asked for clean pillows, they had none to give us. We had booked two rooms, but ended up leaving the same day. Don't trust the ratings.

Even when a dish wasn't prepared the way we expected, the staff promptly brought a replacement. They were attentive throughout, from the manager and reception team to the restaurant staff. They also helped us call a doctor and checked what our children needed. Everyone seemed genuinely keen to help.

We were in Jaipur from January 12 to 15 as a senior couple, and the room looked good at first. But there were bathroom problems: the shower and taps ran at the same time, leaving the floor wet, and one of our friends slipped. We reported it to reception, but although they said they'd fix it, they never did. We also had to ask every evening for the room to be cleaned and the towels changed, and even then the towels weren't replaced. At checkout, we tried to give feedback and were rudely told to put it on the website. The property has potential, but it isn't being managed properly. It needs attention if they want guests to return or recommend it.
