OYO 2072 Hotel Indigo Heritage

The hotel mattress was very dirty, and they charged extra for an additional mattress. The staff were guilty.

Cleanliness and room quality were good, and the staff were friendly and cooperative. The location is easy to find from the main road, sits behind the Hilton Hotel Jaipur, and is close to Jaipur railway station. It’s farther away for anyone traveling by air. Don’t rely on the OYO price: Oyo may allocate a room at a very cheap rate, but the property manager won’t let you check in at that price. They also don’t allow outside food, so you have to order from their restaurant. Apart from those issues, everything was good, and I was happy with the service.

After midnight, the staff started talking loudly and kept at it until around 02:00 to 02:30 am, even though guests were trying to sleep. That was the worst part of an already poor stay. This old, run-down hotel has practically no amenities. The beds were broken, the mattresses sagged, and I was moved twice before I could get some sleep. The towels were worn and rough, and the sheets were well past their useful life. Broken switches and light fittings seemed dangerous and could cause bodily harm. The bathroom smelled of a blocked drain, and nothing was done after I complained. Not suitable for a decent stay.

I stayed for two days, and it was a very bad experience. Don’t trust the other ratings, they’re wrong. We eventually got a good room, but only after waiting an hour. At first, they said ours wasn’t ready and offered another that looked like a servant room, with no TV or water heater. We said we’d cancel and go elsewhere, then they gave us the proper room. I’d rate that room 3. The TV still didn’t work because the Dish TV recharge had run out. I called reception twice for a water bottle and got nothing. On the third call it arrived, after about an hour, so the service gets 1. The breakfast noodles were good, but the Chole and bhatura were very bad, so breakfast gets 2. On payment day, the card machine wasn’t working and we had to pay cash. I checked out and went to another hotel. This is my actual review. Boss at Indigo Heritage hotel, sorry to list all this, but I hope you can improve your service. Thanks and Happy new year.
