Palm Stay - Studios & Rooms

The staff were very good, and the food was good too. There are also nice places to eat nearby. It’s a good choice for a family stay, right in the centre of town, so it’s easy to get around and come back.

The hosts are amazing, and the rooms are lovely and good quality. Best hotel in town for a great experience, in my view.

I ended up paying 3000 rupees for a miserable stay, then was called back as we were leaving to pay another 100 rs for a water bottle that wasn’t marked as chargeable anywhere. The problems started before arrival, when they sent a 50% prepayment request through booking.com under the label “re-confirmation.” I didn’t pay and went to the property, where it was clear that no such payment was required, so be careful. In the room, neither the TV nor its remote worked. The geyser stopped producing hot water halfway through my shower, and after a loud DJ finally stopped, the AC wouldn’t work either.

I booked four studio rooms through agoda for three nights. The property is new and sits on the main road, which makes getting around easy. Our studio rooms were clean and came with a full kitchen setup, balcony, fridge, microwave, and more. The restaurant food was good, though service was slow, and breakfast was à la carte rather than a buffet. Daily cleaning and towel changes could be better, and the water allowance should be at least 1 lts per person, as at other hotels. It’s worth the price overall, with a few areas to improve. I’d recommend it.
