Rampura Kothi

The room was clean, and the owner and young man were friendly. He even offered us a free drive and recommended a wonderful restaurant. His next-door neighbor was strange, though, and kept staring whenever we left the house. I wondered if it was because I was Asian and with a White man. I stayed there for two weeks in 2020, and the place came up on my Google map today even though I wasn’t looking for it. It brought back good memories of India. There was a wasteland in front of the house where a mother dog and her four puppies lived. They were so cute, and we fed them every day. I hope they’re doing well.

The owners were such a welcoming bunch, and the location was quite good. It’s in an upscale, quiet residential neighborhood, but still within walking distance of the amenities you might need, with plenty of good restaurants nearby. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, and breakfast was yummy. A splendid BNB, warmly recommended.

We’ve stayed here three times now, and it’s excellent. Shakti, the owner, helped us sort out our Indian SIM card and made the whole thing easy. The rooms are lovely and breakfast is good. Thanks, Shakti. We’ll definitely be back! X😁

I stayed for one day, from the evening of August 5, 2020, until the morning of August 6. The host, Shakti Singh, was gracious, and so were his parents when they visited. But with the shutdowns, there was no staff, and I had to rush out early, so the stay was a disaster. I can’t recommend the place at that time, though I sympathize with the situation. I hope things improve and wish them well for a better review.
