The only real snag was that the Wi-Fi in my room ran slowly at times. I was in Jaipur on a business trip and otherwise had a very comfortable stay at Royal Palace hotel. My room was spacious, clean, and had a comfortable bed, TV, air conditioning, and hot shower. The staff were friendly and ready to help, and the breakfast buffet had plenty of tasty choices. After work, I enjoyed unwinding at the gym and spa. The hotel is in a prime spot with easy access to public transport and nearby attractions. I'd happily recommend it for a luxurious, comfortable stay.

The room had no natural light, since its window opened onto a corridor. Sounds carried both ways, so that could be a privacy concern. Still, the service was great, and hot water was available whenever we needed it. The owner recommended Bablu, our tuk-tuk driver, who was patient, helpful, trustworthy, and knowledgeable as he took us around for sightseeing and shopping. The hotel usually has a rooftop restaurant, but its cook was away, so the owner kindly sent us next door for breakfast. A cosy place to stay, and I'd come back if I had the chance.

I booked this by mistake for three hours when I meant to stay the night. The owner rudely said I'd already had the benefit of booking online and would have to pay more to stay all night. My wife and I couldn't sleep, with people talking in the gallery beside our room and other guests asking for things like bathroom water and lights. The room had a dirty, colored bedsheet, dust piled under the bed, and no bath soap. There was no TV at first, but on request they moved us to a room with an old model. I asked for a water bottle and got it the next morning. A horrible experience.

I've stayed here three times on my Jaipur trip. It's an affordable place with spacious rooms and good service, and the owner is friendly. On Kabir Marg in Bani Park, it's about 1 km from the railway station and metro station. There are laundry services and a few restaurants nearby too.

The street had a friendly feel, and the staff at this lovely little hotel were great. Jaipur's main train station is an easy walk, around 10-15 minutes away. We'd definitely stay here again if we return.
